I remember family Sundays when my grandmother used to prepare the typical Cuban meal of arroz congrí, pork and yucca with empellitas...nothing was more important to her than the moment of watching people eat their food, many times she didn't even sit at the table...it seemed that she fed herself with every spoonful that others put in their mouths. And what does that have to do with gelato?

There are three basic things that have led us to this adventure of creating a unique product: "Cuban Gelato".

First: Tradition
Tradition comes from wanting to pass on and feel the same way my grandmother felt watching her diners enjoy Sunday lunches. What more could you want in life?

Second: Creativity
We were always big fans of ice cream... but when we decided to create our own product... we knew we had to lose our fear and create something different... What a cliché! But what can I tell you? Our Cuban gelato is what you would call "out of the mold".

Third: Family
Ice cream in all its versions (Cuban, American, Italian) is the perfect excuse for a family moment...and can accompany us in the happiest and saddest moments of our lives...just like the family....to give us joy or comfort.
